Alumni Award Nomination Form

To be nominated as an outstanding alumna/alumnus, faculty, or staff of the College of St. Scholastica is more than an honor. It is a celebration of academic excellence and professional accomplishments blended with Benedictine values. Please take a moment to nominate a deserving classmate, faculty, or staff person. Do it now, the deadline is March 15 (except the Young Alumni Award) in order to be considered for the year.


Award Information

Sister Ann Edward Scanlon Award - given to an alumna/alumnus who:
  • demonstrates an exceptional level of commitment to the College
  • shows outstanding dedication in working to improve his/her community



Sister Alice Lamb Award - given to an alumna/alumnus who:
  • is well-established in his/her professional career
  • has contributed significantly to her/his profession
  • has maintained a life-long commitment to The College.
Sister Timothy Kirby Benedictine Spirit Award - given to an alumna/alumnus who:
  • has been a credit to the College by his or her professional achievements
  • exemplifies the Benedictine values of
    • respect for the individual
    • dignity of work
    • stewardship
    • hospitality
    • love of learning


Young Alumni Achievement Award (Nomination Deadline - August 15) - given to an alumna/alumnus who:
  • is under 40 years of age
  • demonstrates a high level of achievement early in his or her career
  • shows support of the College
  • lives out the Benedictine values through service to others
Scholastica Inspiration Award - given to a faculty or staff person who:
  • has shown an extraordinary interest and care for students that has positively affected their lives

Deadline for the Sister Ann Edward Scanlon, Sister Alice Lamb, Sister Timothy Kirby Benedictine Spirit and the Scholastica Inspiration award nominations is March 15. These award recipients will be recognized at the annual all-alumni reunion in June.

Deadline for the Young Alumni Achievement Award is August 15. The award recipient will be recognized during Homecoming Weekend.
