Welcome to the registration page for the College’s Spring Community Day of service.
Classes are canceled during the day on the Duluth campus but learning and service continue.

DIGNITAS STUDENTS
  • You do not need to sign up here; your Dignitas instructor will provide information on Community Day.
COMMUNITY SIGN UP
  • For individual sign-up, click on the listing to go to the registration page for that job. Note that the times listed at each job site will vary. This page shows the number remaining volunteer slots.
  • After you sign up, watch for an email from your group leader. It will tell you details about your group’s site and travel plans.
  • Other options for this Day include Day at the Capitol and the Multicultural Summit at UMD. Please sign up for these options using these links.
PLANNING A DIFFERENT SITE?
  • Please let us know if you have set up your own volunteer arrangements for Community Day. We want to keep an accurate track volunteers and ensure we do not duplicate sites.

Great Lakes Elementary 0 1:00 - 3:00pm Assist with a variety of classrooms activities and with the counselor.

CHANGE IN NUMBER OF SITES:

The number of volunteer spots available to the CSS community is smaller this spring. This is based on three factors:

  1. Dignitas classes are volunteering in the community this spring rather than offering the Thanksgiving in the spring event.
  2. Duluth public schools are on break this day, which eliminated a number of sites.
  3. Based on the weather, far fewer outdoor sites are available for Spring Community Day.
