Registration for fall semester classes begins Sept. 2 and runs until classes are filled. Please check back often as additional Aerobics and Dance classes may be added. If you have questions, please call the Campus Rec Front Desk at x7022.

Aerobics - Boot Camp
This is a simple, easy to follow, yet demanding class that not only tones every major body part, but will also get your heart rate going!

Aerobics - Cardio Kick and Tone
Cardio Kick and Tone will review a variety of beginner and intermediate moves and will require a good postive attitude. This class is high energy with lots of fun combos that will keep you moving and grovin' throughout the day.

Aerobics - Kickboxing
A traditional kickboxing class that will give you a heart pumping workout.

Aerobics - Step Circuit
This is a traditional step class for beginer and intermediates who want a head to toe workout. We will use stability balls to focus on the abs and weight to get a full cardio workout.

Aerobics - Strength and Tone
Put some energy into your mid-day with this full body, high energy work out.

Aerobics - Toning Essentials
This class will focus on strengthening and toning your body through a combination of Pilates exercises and resistance training. We'll use our own body resistance, light free weights, the exercise ball, and resistance bands for a total-body workout!

Dance - Ballet
In this class, students will learn the basic steps of ballet technique. Classes will include barre work, centre floor, and will include leaps, turns, and jumps. You will learn the fundamentals of rhythm, patterns and coordination of body.

Dance - Hip Hop
In this class you will learn basic hip hop moves including gliding, popping and ticking. This is a fun energizing way to learn some new steps and meet new friends.

Dance - Jazz Funk
This is a Jazz class with a touch of funk. You will have a gas dancing to today's popular music.

Dance - Zumba
Zumba fitness is the largest Latin inspired workout program in the world. Burn 500 to 800 calories an hour while toning muscles, relieving stress, and having a great time! Zumba is for everyone. Find out more about it at: www.zumba.com.

Pilates
Pilates is method of exercise that stretches and strengthens the body to improve posture and efficiency of movement. Pilates works the whole body but specially targets your core muscles (abdominal and back muscles).

Qigong
A simple and very powerful energy practice for health, healing and preformance enhancement. Outcomes: Increasese ones energy; deeper sleep; reduces anxiety; lowers stress; greater sense of control; improves focus and motivation.

Qigong - Workshop (1 day)
A 3 hour workshop to help you learn the benefits of Qigong - A simple and powerful energy practice for health, healing and performance enhancemnt. Athletes can benefit from this practice.

Swanny 2k Walk/Run
The Swanny Race honors the woman, Gladys Swanson, for her dedication and contributions to women's athletics and recreation at CSS. This beautiful Fall Walk/Run winds through the hiking trails of CSS and wraps up the Fall Community Day at CSS.

Yoga - Hatha for Beginners
This class is appropriate for all who are new or returning to Yoga practice. The focus will be on learning basic yoga postures, practicing breath awareness and an introduction to yoga philosophy. Minimum of 8 required to hold this 12 week class.

Yoga - Renew, Relax and Reflect
Treat your whole self to greater flexibility and strength, deep relaxation and gentle guided meditation. This is a 12 week class. A minimum of 6 participants required to hold class.
