Remembering St. Scholastica

The video below was created from recordings made at a reunion in the 1980s. St. Scholastica graduates share stories about their favorite teachers, the weaving of the standards, living in Tower Hall, and how important St. Scholastica was to their life. My favorite story is about a former prefect and vice-prefect who snuck out of their rooms in Tower Hall at night and went down into the chapel, which was still under construction at the time. One of the women, a singer, climbed into the choir loft and looked out over the incomplete moonlit chapel. It's a wonderful memory.

Music by St. Scholastica's Early Music Orchestra. The following alumni share their memories: Helen Breen, Jeanne Greenwood, Patricia Hieb, Patricia Miller Horner, Marian Kettenbiel, Ruth Niemala Pass, Elizabeth Saarnia, Jeanette Wolf and Katherine Wolf.
