Barbra-KingBarb King is program director of the American Indian Studies Department at the College. Before joining St. Scholastica's faculty in 1985 she taught at the University of Minnesota Duluth. Throughout her career, she has maintained close ties to and served as a resource for the American Indian communities she has studied. King has developed continuing education programs for American Indians, recruited American Indian students and established working relations with American Indian communities and agencies that serve them. She previously worked for the Menominee Restoration Committee in Keshena, WI, as tribal social services director.
