Paul Stein


Paul-SteinPaul Stein is a professor and chairman of the Chemistry and Physical Science Department at the College, where he has taught for more than three decades. In addition to biochemistry, general chemistry and physical chemistry classes, he teaches an honors course, Great Ideas of Science, which is a discussion-based class rooted in popular science literature. His academic research involves the structure and function relationships of proteins. He is an active runner, who won first place in the first Reif Run, and also hikes and snowshoes. He coached the St. Scholastica volleyball team in his early years at the College.
