Criteria: Aegis sponsors a generous Student Loan Repayment Program to provide financial help to any employee practicing as a physical therapist/physical therapist assistant, occupational therapist/occupational therapist assistant, or speech-language pathologist in their CFY. The program helps pay for outstanding loans that were incurred by the employee to pay tuition while attending an accredited therapy school.

Scholarship Name: Hattie M. Strong Foundation
Deadline Month: Multiple Deadlines (January and March)
Award: up to $2,500
Criteria: Loans up to $2,500 for one year without interest or collateral, are available to students in their final year of study in a baccalaureate or graduate program. Arrangements, including repayment, are made directly with the individual student.

Criteria: Applicant must be 100% Polish. Applicant must be accepted at CSS as a full-time student. Undergraduate or graduate students may apply. This scholarship is based on financial need, academic performance, goals, leadership, and extra-curricular activity involvement. Criteria: This scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate student who are enroll or plan to enroll at an accredited four-year college. Applicant must have an annual adjusted income of $ 35,000 or less. Applicant must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen. Applicants must not be in default on a federal education loan.

Scholarship Name: AICPA/Accountemps Student Scholarship

Award: $ 2,500
Criteria: The applicant must be an AICPA student affiliate member with a declared accounting, finance or informational systems major. Applicant must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Undergraduate or Graduate students must be enrolled as full-time (12 semester hours or equivalent) with satisfactory completion of 30 semester hours, 45 quarter hours, or equivalent college work (including at least six hours in accounting).

Scholarship Name: Community Memorial Hospital Auxiliary - Cloquet
Deadline Month: May
Award: varies
Criteria: Applicant must be a graduate of or resided in Cloquet, Carlton, Esko, Cromwell, Wrenshall, or Albrook for at least five years. Applicant must be attending an accredited post-secondary institution and have completed at least one year of post-high school education in a hospital related career. Applicant may also be eligible if he/she is currently employed in the Cloquet Community Hospital or Nursing Home for at least one year. Applicant must show financial need.

Scholarship Name: Northland Vietnam Veterans Memorial Scholarship
Deadline Month: May
Award: minimum of $700
Criteria: Applicant must be a verifiable relative child, grandchild, sibling, niece/nephew of a Vietnam era veteran or a Vietnam veteran themselves (includes step-family relationships). College applicants must have completed at least 26 academic credits in an accredited program with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher. Applicant must be a full-time student in the U.S. during fall semester to qualify. Applicant must reside in one of the following counties: St. Louis, Cook, Itasca, Koochiching, Lake, Douglas, or Bayfield. Applicant will write a 500 word essay after interviewing a Vietnam veteran. This scholarship is also available to incoming freshman who have a high school cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and meet all other criteria as listed above.

Criteria: -Be an enrolled member of U.S. federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native Group, or possess one fourth degree (federally recognized) Indian blood; -Be pursuing a master's or doctorate degree, as a full-time graduate student, at an accredited graduate schook in the United States and; -Be in need of financial aid. Applicants must apply for federal finanical aid, in January or February, for the coming year.

Criteria: Part or all of the loan repayment may be cancelled if the recipient accepts employment with the BIA or a federally recognized tribe. This is an interest free loan. To be considered, the applicant must: -Be an enrolled member of a United States federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group; or possess 1/4 degree federally recognized Indian blood and; -Have a 3.0 GPA; and -Be pursuing a master's, doctorate, or professional (i.e. law, medical, dentistry) degree as a full time student at an accredited graduate or professional school in the United States.

Criteria: Seeking to select the very brightest American Indian and Alaska Native Students seeking degrees and careers in all fields of study including high technology and business fields. Applicant must: -Be an enrolled member of a United States federally recognized American Indian or Alaska Native group; -Have maintained a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale as measured by undergraduate transcripts upon entering a graduate program; -Be entering a U.S. accredited college or university as full time, degree-seeking first-year graduate or professional student; -Have demonstrated character, personal merit and commitment. Scholarship Name: The Jim Lawson Memorial Scholarship
Deadline Month: August
Award: $1000
Criteria: Applicant must be accepted into an advanced or graduate level health care program with career goals in the health care field. Applicant must be currently or have been in the past a resident in the service area (20 mile radius) of Tri-County Hospital in Wadena, MN, or have an immediate family member who lives in that area. Applicant must demonstrate leadership ability, initiative, and active participation in work, volunteerism, and/or community activity. Applicant must have a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher and have the potential to return to the service area and/or within the Tri-County Hospital system.

Scholarship Name: Ethel Curry Scholarship

Award: $3000 undergraduate, $6000 graduate
Criteria: Undergraduate juniors and seniors or graduate students with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above with at least one-fourth or more blood quantum or combination blood from a major Minnesota Reservation or Community should apply. Applicants should be Minnesota residents who have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have a Minnesota Indian Scholarship Application (ISAP) on file with the Minnesota Indian Scholarship Program in Roseville, MN.

Scholarship Name: Kiwanis-Friendly Duluth Scholarship

Criteria: One scholarship is awarded each year to an undergraduate or graduate student at CSS. Applicants need to write a letter stating their background, history of civic/volunteer service, extra-curricular activities, and academic achievement. Applicants should have demonstrated financial need. Preference is given to High School Key Club/Circle K members and applicants with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.

Scholarship Name: Wisconsin Loan Assistance Program

Award: cannot exceed 75% of loan balance
Criteria: The loan assistance program in Wisconsin was established to assist rural and urban areas designated as underserved in recruiting and retaining health care professionals. For three years of service obligation in a designated community or facility, up to $25,000 of students loans (not to exceed 75% of loan balance) will be paid off for Nurse practicioners.
