The College of St. Scholastica's String and Instrumental Ensembles staged a spring concert on Thursday, April 28, in the Mitchell Auditorium on campus.
One of the features of the event was the String Ensemble, which featured a freshman, Annika Truebenbach, in the first violin chair. The string ensemble performed the first movement of "Brandenburg Concerto No. 6" by Johann Sebastian Bach and "Concerto Grosso Op. 6 No. 7" by George Frederic Handel. Performers included Annika Truebenbach, Amy Lalla, Rebecca Arras, and Penny Schwarze, violins; Kyle Akervik and Sean Makynen, violas, Jacy Hicks, cello; and Ian Kvalle, double bass.
Truebenbach shares what it's like to have that responsibility.
