** These courses are required by the English Department to meet ENG standards and the licensure requirements of the Minnesota Department of Children, Families and Learning. Two courses from the period surveys (ENG 3310, 3311, 3320, 3321) are required.
In addition to CTA 1114 choose one CTA course from: CTA 1107, 2205, 3323, 4150, 4420. Forty credits in ENG courses are required; at least 24 of the credits must be numbered 3000 or above.ENG 1110 and ENG 2105 do not count among the 40 ENG credits required for an ENG major. In addition, some courses are required but do not count toward the 40 credit total required for an ENG major. Those courses are: ENG 4440, EDM 3220 and CTA courses.
