The College has begun an alumni tradition called Saints Heritage Club, Last fall, alums who graduated 50 or more years ago were welcomed to participate in convocation, the ceremonial opening of the school year, They had breakfast with St. Scholastica President Larry Goodwin and later that day wore caps and gowns to march into convocation with Dr. Goodwin and the faculty.

Afterward they joined current students, faculty and staff at an all-school barbecue, It's an appropriate way to honor the College's older alumni, said Beth Pokela, executive director of Alumni Relations, "They're the history that brings us to where we are today," she said, "And doing this at convocation represents our heritage and our future, because we honor students of the past and welcome new students of today."
